Chief Financial Strategist*/Investment Committee Member
As part of the Investment Committee, which is the governing body overseeing the investment management functions for the firm including research, recommendations, and selection of investments, Phyllis adds significant depth to our investment process for the benefit of clients. In this role, she shares strategic oversight of the investment policy and gains insight about markets and returns through evidence-based research. By using an academic approach to analyze thousands of investments for inclusion in our portfolios he assists in evaluating current market data, trends, and research to form investment recommendations. This includes but, not limited to, strategic and tactical allocation, asset location and specific securities.
Phyllis, as Chief Financial Strategist, focuses on investment analysis. As a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), she adds an additional layer of perspective to the analytical approach of the Investment Committee. Phyllis has over thirty years of experience which includes serving as an analyst and portfolio manager for a global financial investment management firm. Her experience includes domestic and international equities as well as commercial real estate research.
Phyllis attended Iowa State University where she earned a B.S. Industrial Administration.
Outside of work she enjoys fly fishing, jewelry making, reading, and experimenting with new recipes. I am also learning to make quilts and have joined a group that donates them.
